Quick ? -I'm replacing gasket at coolant T- What type of sealant if any is best. Couldn't find thread on subject

I use Loctite "#3" which is a non-drying gasket sealant. Just installed the water pump and t-stat housing last night. I also use Loctite 243 (I think) on the bolt threads - it's the medium strength thread sealant so I can get them out again...

I don't use anything - it's the gasket's job to seal the joint and there is no need to use anything else there.
Anti-seize for the bolts would be a good idea tho.
