To get it back on the road In Ohio, you have to convert it from a Salvage title to a Rebuilt Salvage title. That means you have to rebuild the car, take it to the Ohio State Police for inspection, (they look for stolen parts on it) then go to BMV to get a new Rebuilt Salvage title. Not sure what the rules are in Oregon
