Source for Vinyl Paint???

Post by spidernut »

Anyone know of a source for SEM quality vinyl paint in an aerosol can that is either available in the Sacramento, CA, area or will ship to California?

I'm looking for the tan color used in the 81 Fiat Spider interior. World Upholstery carries the color in their own vinyl paint but it is a staggering $21 per can. Their chamois color is perfect, but I've not been able to find decent matches anywhere in this area, or that will ship to this area.

In my area SEMS really isn't too much cheaper. Last can I bought was $19 plus tax in my area.

John,
Try FinishMasters in your area. Otherwise, give me the SEM color code and I will try to pick it up for you and bring it to the Alameda car show. Hopefully, my local store is open this Saturday. Earliest I can get there.

Thanks...they're about the same distance as the other store I found. Both are about an hour+ drive. Still, it is a local source! Thanks much for the info and see you on Sunday.

John, I have bought it from Eastwood supplies online
http://www.eastwood.com/paints/interior-dyes.html
I have used it quite a bit with excellent results.Definitely, use the adhesion promoter first. It makes a big difference.I have tried others, but the SEM is by far the best

What color did you buy to match your interior? Was it the original tan color?
