Does anybody have a photo that clearly shows the profile of the very front of the hood above the grill, you know, the part that wears the badge. The question that I have is whether the very tip of the hood is supposed to taper to a smooth edge or whether the body line from the outside edges is to continue all the way. Can't really tell from my hood, BTW, in case it matters, it is a 69

Not sure what you are looking for. Are you looking for the shape of the hood nose and how sharp the creases are. Anyhow, this is a 70 hood and more likely similar to yours.
