124 4spd vs 5spd transmission length

124 4spd vs 5spd transmission length

I know the shifter comes out in a different location but does anyone know if the 124 4spd and the 5spd are the same overall length?
To put it another way do you need a different driveshaft to swap a 124 4spd to a 5spd?
