For Engine disassembly, page 10-23 of the Spider Shop Manual says to scribe the clutch and flywheel before removing it, so you can install it in the same position. Ok, did that..
Fast forward to 8 months later after an engine tear-down and bottom end rebuild. Putting everything back together, and I looked at the clutch and flywheel for marks...
Yeah, not so much. Guess the de-greasing and cleaning took it's toll.
So, how critical is this? Can I put the old clutch on, or do I need to just put in a new clutch?

You would be in the same boat if you bolted on a new one, Just go for it.

Considering a new clutch is not that expensive, unless the old clutch is in very good nick it's probably worth biting the bullet and throwing a new one at it. Machine your flywheel if you do.BNelsonAz wrote:Can I put the old clutch on, or do I need to just put in a new clutch?
