Well I got a little curious and googled the dealer badge on my Spider to see wherre it came from. I was completely shocked to find out the answer. The badge reads: AutoLindner Heidelberg which apparently indicates the car was orignally purchased in Germany

We visited every town and castle, my mom was a castle nut, and I was actually in Heidelberg in 1970 at the same time this car was I don't use this often but LOL
