Floppy pedal and blue pills don't work!

Post by zachmac »

The car I bought recently has a droopy gas pedal due to the fact that the spring that attaches to the little hole above the pedal itself had no spring! I need to get it to return "full up" so I can adjust the carbs and get WOT to be wide open. Two questions: what does the spring look like, big, little, long, short??? Also, where does the other end attach? I can't see any obvious place it would attach to the body? Pictures would be immensly helpful.

So what does the spring look like and what are the attachment points? I have the same issue where the spring is missing, but i found a spring in a bin of parts for my car and i thinks its for that. Does anyone have a photo of this area? Thanks.
