Clutch fork / Throwout arm assembly

Post by V12StealthHunter »

I'm changing the clutch and I was about to change the throwout bearing when I noticed that the Haynes manual says the clutch fork is held onto the stretcher yoke (that ball/stud thing?) using a split pin (page 83). Mine looks like its just pressed onto that stud. Am I missing something?

Also, is anything meant to be lubed up when changing the throwout bearing?

Apologies if this isn't the right place for transmission questions.

Thanks.
