The video is a bit rough, trying to hold the camera in the left hand, steer with the left knee, clutch and shift down a bumpy country road proved to be a little challenging, but I thought I would share the vid any way .

Re: Running thru the gears :~)
Thanks. The PO put a 1608 head on a 1438 block and a 4:2:1 exhaust (although the muffler is old and has pin holes in it) and I think he put different cams in it due to the reciept from IAP. I put an 1800 intake, Weber 32/36 DFEV carb, Petronix ignition and coil. He seems to run strong, it is as quick as my Mazda Protege5 (automatic) so I am pretty happy with it. I need to have the timming done with a timming light but haven't gotten around to it. The winter plan is to build a 1608 for it, so how much more fun will that be .
Thanks again

I think you're missing about 1500 revs off the top.

Re: Running thru the gears :~)
Thanks for the comments,
Redline I intentionally shift at 5k rpms (trying to get use to the Fiat), it will rev all the up if I let him.
Beek I thought this as well, it stays pegged at the zero of 190, which I gather is about 195. I put in a new radiator, fan temp switch, 185 thermostat, hoses and a new water pump. I treid to burp the system but no bubbles came out even after idleing for 20 minutes. Before I did all the cooling work the temp gauge read like 220, so it is an improvement. Any suggestions on how to improve the cooling let me know.

Re: Running thru the gears :~)
go through the numerous threads on burping the cooling system and try them. My best success is, jacking the front to the sky, with my t-connector (which I installed)at the heater hose open. When coolant starts running out of it, cap it, then fill radiator to the top. Works every time for me.
