top frame issues

Hi all. I bought a spider with a new canvas top on. I was wondering if there might be something wrong because when i closed the top (secured the clips at front windshield,the clips dont seem to align properly with the top. I had to struggle to get it to snap closed. Could it be that my frame is bent ? Or the new canvas top is still breaking in? Also,when i shut my doors with windows rolled up,the window hits the canvas top unless i roll them down a little. Is this normal ?

Pictures would be helpful. I will say three things about top fitment. First there are two different front bows and second there are two different latch widths. These are year specific. The window issue is more than likely due to missing fasteners at the front and rear of the frame over the window. This will cause the flap to hang out just a bit and be in the way of the window when you try to roll it up.
