Jet size on a Weber 32/36 DFEV?

Post by 70spider »

As most of you know I recently did a major fuel system overhaul and one of the parts replaced was the carb. I went with the Weber 32/36 DFEV on an 1800 intake combo. I was wondering if anyone knew what the stock jets (from factory) are on the carb, it didn't come with a spec sheet nor could I find the info on the website I bought it from. I live prety much at sea-level (600 ft.) and I plan to travel to the Rockies next year and the elevations I will be driving in will be 6500 to 8700 so I plan on swapping out jets along the way (I did this 30 years ago in my ford) the question is what jets do I need for that elevation?
Oh by the way the wife and I went on our first night drive, WOW 8) what an experience, also found out I need new bulbs in the tach and speedo
Thanks for everything guys.

DFEV was never a stock carburetor. Call whoever you bought it from and find out how it was jetted; that carb is used on everything from dune buggies to trucks and jetted differently for each.
