This is darrell from Melbourne Australia
I acquired a 79 124 CS2 a few months ago. I am trying to get full reg and
the engineer says i need to get replacement seat belts that comply
with ADRs. That's all i need then i am all set.
Does anyone know what belt with a retractor could be used? Could you point me
to someone?
Thanks in advance

Curly...seems you've been pretty quiet on the forum lately. Any new photos of your car racing down is Oz?

She's a 1967 Mini Marcos GT. They were built in England and sold as body shells in various stages of completeness into which the mechanical components of a donor Mini were fitted. They weigh in at under 500kg (1100 Pounds) and stand about 40" high.spiderrey wrote:what is that?
They have a fairly impressive race history as well as still holding some land speed records. One was clocked at 143mph at Le Mans in 1967, driven by a braver soul than I
This particular car was the one of the first two delivered to Australia in 1967. There are known to be 6 in the country, of which only 3 are believed to be road-registered or still running. It's taken 20 months to restore this neglected, one-owner rolling-shell back to this condition. It's fitted with full Cooper S running gear and was only inspected and registered for the road last week.
If you're interested in how the restoration progressed you can spend a few hours perusing my website http://www.mm7056.wordpress.com
