Carpet replacement,...

I'm really having trouble trying to complete the original interior of my '79 Spider.
My Spider's carpet is red, is in pretty good shape, and cannot be replaced as original due to it's color. The rubber portion of the driver's side is missing however, and my carpet would be pretty complete if I can find this one piece. I'm wondering if anyone knows who to buy the rubber portion of the driver's side carpet from, new or used, or if it can even be had.
I've placed a WTB post in the “Cars/Parts Wanted” section of the forum for a used one, but don't expect too many folks to see it. If you are replacing your carpet, please check out the post. I don't think any vendor will be able to help, so I guess I'm trying to depend on the folks that are replacing their carpet, and I don't think this portion of the carpet set survives the years very well.

Todd, there is a source for the red carpet, I just can't remember the one at the moment. I do remember getting carpet samples from one of the suppliers and thought that the stuff was kind of cheezy....... Worlduph.com

I ended up with commercial grade carpet from a carpet store - slightly cheaper in price even with the shipping

I do have a vendor bookmarked that sells the red carpet, but mine is in such good shape, and original, that I'd like to not replace it,...that's why I'd like to see if anyone that is replacing their carpet might have the driver's rubber mat portion. If it's in reasonable condition, I could finish my carpet set with it.
Please message me if you know anyone replacing their original carpet set,...any color would be OK, since I just need the black rubber.

4uall has been kind enough to dig through his old parts and things and was able to find the rubber mats that I have been looking for! He has shipped them to me, and I expect I'll have them in the next week.
That is the proof of a very true member of this forum,...I only hope that I can provide the same kind of favor to another member somewhere down the road! I just wanted everyone to know.
