what to do with the extra hoses?

last month I boughta 76 124 spider that had A Weber look alike 32/36 that the one and only vacuum hose was hooked up wrong. it was hooked to the return line. My question is the float bowl viper line should it be pluged? also I did plug the return line. I asked because I noticed the gas cap is not vented.

You can plug the bowl vent. I'd run the fuel return if the carb has it.

we offer a fuel filter with a return line nipple that can be used when the carb is only fitted with an inlet nipple
