You know you own a FIAT when . . .

The wiring diagram(s) comes with an honorary degree in EE.

It starts to make a funny noise, and you think "Well, time to replace (Insert part name here), again."

You know what POR-15 is.

Someone says to you, "Nice MG", and you say "Thanks" while smiling and thinking of what you have on hand that you could use to stab them in the eye.

Someone asks you what year your car is, and you say, "Well it's a ___, but the engine is out of a ___, and the doors are off a ___. The wheels are new, but the, uh... carpet is totally original!"

You open and close the door for your girlfriend just because you don't like the way they slam the door. GRRR that burns my biscuits.

You drive with one eye on the temp gauge in traffic.

You carry a spare ignition switch, hazzard switch, jumper wirers, etc... at all times

You can't walk through the garage without looking and smiling at your car after all these years.

Your wife is a wonderful human being that tolerates your time with the other lady in the garage.

You volunteer to make a quick run to the store on weekends just to start the car up and take quick run with the top down.

You pull this forum up daily just to see what everyone is up doing with thier cars.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

when you walk away from your car, turn back, take another look at least three times and grin

when 4x98 and hubcentric are part of your vocabulary

when an evening working on the car alone is more enjoyable than an evening watching TV with the wife (ouch)

when you chase down other Fiat owners just to chat with them

Your car wins best of show and blows a spark plug out of the engine on the same day.

You finally understand why there are 18 inch socket extensions.

You put a nice stereo and speakers in your car, then realize you haven't turned them on all summer.

You laugh (knowingly and sadly) with, not at, Triumph owners when they talk about "Lucas Prince of Darkness."

You can get into an intense debate over bumpers (or Panasport wheels!)

You have no idea what people are talking about when they say they get flamed on the forum for their cars.

You freak out in the parking lot when you can't see it, only to realize it's hiding behind a compact car.

Your thumb and forefinger are permanently creased in the shape of a Weber mixture tuning screw.
You have a metric tool set and ten extra 13mm and 17mm sockets
You know if your engine is running right by how it smells
You think its perfectly acceptable to wash a cylinder head in a dishwasher

Over the years your wife has come to accept that her dining room table becomes your workbench of choice from December to March.
