the coil wire runs directly from pin 15 of the ignition switch to +B of the coil. Just run the new wires along side the old wire. it actually doesn't matter how you run it as long as you keep it from moving parts and heat.

UPDATE: VITTORIA
Wow that was alot of work, I ran a new wire for the ignition and got him started then hand dialed the distributor in (for the moment). The new intake, carb and electronic ignition work awesome, the car is alot smoother and no back fire when down shifting now, so it is going to be nice to drive him without notifying the fire department before hand  .
One minor problem, when I reconected my fuel sending unit the fuel gauge desn't work anymore ( I just replaced a week before I started the engine upgrades).
Well I am going to take him in to get timed properly (I don't have a light and no clue how to use one) plus I need to see if my son's mechanic will tackle to suspension for me.
Mega THANKS everyone I couldn't have done it without you. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I'm so glad to hear you got your Spider going. It's a really good feeling when given the information necessary to fix it yourself. The folks on this forum seem to take great pride in helping others with their Fiats. They are a great bunch,...
