They did in my car. Didn't have to cut any springs either.

thought I remembered reading somewhere that someone cut the springs ..got the car stance the way they wanted ... then switched from kybs to konis and then wished they had never cut the springs .... my car has the iap lowering sport springs and kybs ... always thought the wheel wells looked a little empty (car sits kinda high) even with 14 inch rims ... not sure I have the nerve to cut the springs ... and sometime down the road I guess I will need new shocks ... might switch over at that point ...thanks for the confirmation ... I have gotten used to the look of my car but when brad mentioned ride height got me wondering again

Might have been me. I cut 1 coil (rears only) on the IAP reds when I had KYB's (15 inch wheels as well) When I went to Koni's the rear sat low and in my opinion looked... not right. Traded my cut springs with a set of rear uncuts and all is good now :D

I cut one coil off my OEM springs on my 81 with KYB's and like the ride height. I then went with NOS red Konis in the rear and Spax in the front and still like the ride height. It is really in the eye of the beholder.
