Paint in Baltimore

Post by Caferacer59 »

My name is Jerry, and I have been on this board a bit over the past 10 years, but am generally pretty quiet. I felt compelled to put up a quick post on Maaco in timonium. I went all over looking for a paint shop, 90% didnt want to do it and the one or 2 that did gave me 6k estimates.

anyways 2800 and my car (champagne metallic) was very nicely repainted. (it was a no rust no ding car).

I found one area that was not perfect and they happily corrected it.

so there is a plug for a them. At one point i didnt think i would ever get her painted.

So if your in the Baltimore area , and need paint its worth a look.

Thanks, Jerry, was wondering about the quality level of Maaco, they kind of have a bad reputation because you can get a cheap paint job there, but I was curious about what you can get for a bit more money. I got a quote from 2 local body shops on my no rust, no dings '79, both were for $5500. One offered to do it for $4000 if I stripped all the trim, bumpers, etc from the car myself. May have to get an estimate from the local Maaco for the same deal.
