Temperature Sending Unit for Warning Light and Temperature Sending Unit for Gauge
Would like to know which color wire goes where like if the green with yellow stripe go in the front closer to the water neck or in the far back sensor closer to the firewall.
Thanks guys!

Re: Temperature Sending Unit for Gauge Wires
Water temperature sending unit = green/white or green/yellow or green
Engine overheat warning switch = gray/black or white or green/black
To make things really annoying, the green/white may be green/yellow because it changes half way through the harness, and on a lot of cars it just goes all the way through green/yellow. On early cars the wiring diagram shows white (blanco) to 53, the overheat switch, but I don't think it is white, mine was green and black (overheat) and green (sending).

I have another thread on that issue over here.
