Big O-ring

I got myself an engine gasket set and I can't seem to identify what the big rubber O-ring is for? Its about the size of the water pump pulley. It was in a bag with the crankshaft pulley O-ring and 4 or so washers.

The 1400 engines have a centrifugal oil cleaner on the front of the crank. the front pulley has a cover, and the cover is sealed with the o ring.
