Hi EastLAFiat,

A bit late here but if you're still interested I'd be up for a cruise. I don't have a Spider myself but I can come out with an S2000 and drop the top for the drive 8) . I'd love to chat with some Spider owners in person and see (possibly sit in them if folks are ok with that) the cars as well! My schedule is flexible. Even if just for a coffee meet up, I'm game. For a cruise we can meet somewhere in the West Covina or Puente Hills area and take it north along the 39 (love the Burro Canyon outdoor range!) up to the mountain for a casual drive.

Although, we do need to watch out for reckless 'kids' up there - some act like it's a race track and cross the double-yellow casually.

Cheers,
Colin

The fastest way to get one done is to do it yourself. Define a route. Pick a meeting place. Pick a time. Post it on the forum and your local Craigslist with your contact info. Show up and have the cruise. Even if you only get one other participant it can be a lot of fun. Organizing drives is not glamorous and it takes some effort - but it can be rewarding. Top tip: Make the destination a place where everyone can park and enjoy a cold one while looking at the cars.

If you are still on the bench, check with one of the local foreign car clubs and see if they will let you tag along.
