Yes the weather was really nice and the cars were exceptional. Nice size event that you could really take the time to see all of the cars in detail. It was nice meeting you Denise and Guilio and look forward to both of your assistance in the future.

No pics from me, Narfire. I'm the world's worst about not taking pictures at these events.

It was great to finally see you in person Denise. I also enjoyed meeting Joe.

Sorry I wasn't able to stay much more than I did. It was a perfect day for the show and driving the Spider with the top down. Some beautiful car and bikes. We need to all meet again soon, along with the other nearby owners.

Here's a shot of my car's first show :) with Joe's car in the background.

I wasn't there long and didn't take many, and they're mainly of my car (proud Papa), but will post what I have later.

Here are three more shots from the show (of my car, but you can see what else was there). Wish I had taken more.

The burgundy 72 in the background in the first shot belongs to Denise. And Joe's 82 in the last shot.

Hi all.

Hope you're all doing well and you're staying dry.

One of our Spider owners set up this world map of owners. I just pinned myself in it. It would be cool if everyone in the area would too. Some already have.

Check out the link below and pin your location on the map. Kinda cool

Hi guys.

My wife backed into the Spider and I need to find someone in the Charlotte area to take care of the damage.

Thanks.

Hi all.

I wanted to bump up this post to see how much interest there is for a get together. The turn out at the Italian Car show in South Charlotte last spring was low, only 3 of us showed up. I couldn't make this years gathering, so a couple of us were talking of doing a small one on our own. Let me know by replying to this post. Thanks.

Update: My car was fixed this past fall and I was able to get it in the Charlotte International Car Show in November as a then and now participant. My car next to a new 500 Abarth.

Here she is all fixed up at the show. Turbo stripes removed since it's not a turbo any longer.

Thanks RR. That's the good side. My body shop convinced Hagerty to paint the hood and the whole driver's side because the paint is metallic. Now I just have to get the other half to look as good. :)

Hey all.

My buddy Chris (aka Six Charlie) has organized a a get together (via FiatSpider on FaceBook) this Sunday at Mac's Speed Shop on South Blvd (Charlotte, of course) at 5:00 pm. I believe we have 10 confirmed. The more the merrier. Car or no car.

Hope to see you.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Not the Mac's Speed Shop South Blvd location, the location on S. Tryon near Ayersly and 485.

The parking lot at the South BLVD location is not laid out very well for cars, so that's why we decided on the Steel Creek (S. Tryon) location. Bigger lot, easy access from 77, 85 and 485. Maybe one day I'll be able to drive my car to an event.

Spread the word! Let's do this!
