Bummer. Hot (35deg C or around 95 Deg F ) here now. Not that many spiders in the area though.
As mentioned, looking forward to a few pics later.
The FFO is on my bucket list, but at the moment being self employed difficult to get away during the building season.

CFO has just told me that we "have" to go to FFO next year (Houston to Chicago felt a bit of a stretch for this year).

Any news on next years venue yet?

I am not letting any ''cat out of the bag'',but we are in serious discussion with the organizers of the Pittsburgh Grand Prix. They want to host us and have Fiat as their featured marque.Their proposal is very enticing, but we(as a club) have to make sure it is affordable. There is a huge amount of planning that goes into this event. But,if the lodging can be arranged away from the center of the city, with affordable prices,I wouldn't be surprised if we end up there. As a racer, what could be better than the biggest vintage race held on city streets as a backdrop for FFO?
There have been some discussions with SoCal as a venue, but the small chapter says they don't have enough people on the ground to pull it off. There are thousands of small details to be arranged, and it takes a big effort. Thanks to Chi FLU for pulling off this years outstanding event.
ps...I will get some pics up asap.Especially of the winner of the 80-82 Spiders......me!! :D My first award after many years of trying.

Thanks Craig. A longer drive! Although would be pretty cool to be in with the Grand Prix. I thought the next location would be announced at the previous FFO - hence why I was asking.

Congratulations on the award!

Congrats, Craig! And a huge thanks to you, Denise, Csaba, Doug, and all the others who answered questions and let me poke around cars on Saturday. I was astonished at how enthused everyone was despite the huge amount of rain which fell around 1000. Great to see not only the Spiders, but the 850's, 500's (old and new) and the three Dino's.

I just mentioned next years possible locale, and got a "Hmmmmm..." look from Pat. Beats "No" anyday!
