Convertable top has pulled out at the back bottom
The convertable top on my car has begun to pull out of the lower hold down bracket that runs accross the back. I have tried to push it back under but it will not stay when I put the top up and down. Can someone explain how I can put the top back into the hold down bracket? I do appreciate pictures.

Re: Convertable top has pulled out at the back bottom
There is a 2 inch piece of trim over the back seat that comes out with screws. Under that are some bolts holding the big retaining clip that holds the back of the top down. If you leave the top up and unclipped, you can get to those screws and bolts.
The trick is to get the bolts loose, but just snug enough so you can get the bottom of the top under it and push the big retainer down from the outside of the car, through the convertible material. Then go back inside the car and finish tightening down the bolts.
