Tune up or starter?

I had to do a tune up on the Wagon Queen Family Truckster today - front wheel drive, transverse mount, 6 cyl. I think I'd rather change a Fiat starter than change the plugs and wires on my minivan. My arms are torn up, hands are beat up, shoulders are tired, knuckles are wracked. I'm so glad it only needs to be done every 70,000 miles. Whew!

It's sometimes worth it to let a mechanic do it. I pick my battles with cars carefully.

Thats what sears is for . They aren't great tecs but they can do the dirty work. They're shop rate is cheap!

I'm also not to keen on picking my own battles. But I'm trying to get better. I have a good friend that has a very productive mechanic shop and after his wife informed me one year that we had spent 10,000.00 at there shop I vowed never to let that happen again, but some things I just don't want to mess with. He will not work on Fiats tho.
