believe it or not, it's an 84 pinan.. not entirely sure where the bumpers are from though, they sort of look like something off an early mg or austin healy. If anyone's interested, it's listed for $24,995

I think that's a three-piece hardtop made by Koerbler. They were quite popular back in the 80ies (even I never found a hardtop nice on a Spider). The good thing about them is that you can remove the two pieces and store them away - the original Pininfarina made hardtop was a either-or choice...Jazgeek wrote:can anyone identify this top? targa top on a spider?

Yep, those bumpers and over-riders are from an Austin Healey 100/6. Not too sure if I like the over-riders placed upside down, especially at the rear; but it's still an improvement over the twin tube arrangement.Jazgeek wrote:believe it or not, it's an 84 pinan.. not entirely sure where the bumpers are from though, they sort of look like something off an early mg or austin healy.

One of the mechanics at a shop near me took the roll bar off of a Lancia Beta and adapted it to fit on his spider when the top is down. I don't have a pic, but I'll try to get one soon. I think it's kinda cool looking.
