Home Made Rotisserie

Post by deftone »

Howdy folks,

I remember a while back someone on here made a rotisserie using 2 engine stands. Cant remember username...but are you still here? And if so can you provide a how-to guide? :D

I need a rotisserie, and have a bunch of old engine stands so it would save me from having to explain to the wife why I need to go buy one

Don't rely solely on the car to provide longitudinal support. One of our club members failed to tie the two engine stands together along the floor, and the rig collapsed. If you're using the inexpensive Harbor Freight-style engine stands, also consider outriggers to keep the whole thing from tipping over.
