Big brake kit from VAS

I install the kit last year and i'm disappointed with the result. My friend said that the booster is not producing enough pressure to the system. If you pump the brake, hold the pedal and start the car, the pedal move but not that much. The booster and the MC are new.

Hi Orford,

I also have big brake kit (an older kit from Performance Fiat a few years ago).

Did you change master cylinders at the time? I found that accurate setting of the actuator arm was critical to having the system work well.

Yes but I was expecting to see my tooth smiling at me on the dash

And yes I change the MC and the brake booster. I adjust the Booster but maybe i'll check again.

how can it be a big brake kit if it still fits inside of a 13" rim?

Vented disc and 4 pistons Wildwood caliper. But the pistons are so small.

I have the kit and I´m very happy with it I have 15 inchs wheel. Sorry to disappoint you 4uall but they always have been very nice with me. Everybody is entitle to his appreciation.

ORFORD2004 if you want even more braking power you can always get MC from a VX.

I don´t have one ( MC for VX) but apparently it is suppose to give you more braking power. That´s all I know, sorry.

$300 for the MC. Of course it will brake better. Because your pocket are lighter
