Hello all,
Can someone please post some pics of a propper 34 ADF setup including all hoses and vacume lines. I have a tremendous raw gas smell that i'm trying to get rid of.
1977 Spider, 1800 Engine, header, car was originally equipped with california emissions which were removed years ago.
Electronic ignition from an 82 spider. And I regretably removed my charcoal cannister about 3 years back.
Thank you for your help
Dino

I used to have a 34ADF with no charcoal canister and zero raw gas smell.

You have a leak somewhere - even without a charcoal canister (and most peoples don't do anything anyway they're so old) the carburetors don't reek of fuel. Look for leaks in the hoses and body of the carb, then examine the hoses at the tank and along the interior driver's side.
