Sounds fake/planted to me. I'm sure the admins could tell us where the poster logged in from or something of that sort.

I saw that and laughed out loud. I love my Spider, but for that money I could get:

> A brand new 2014 Porsche Cayman
> A 60's Jaguar XK convertible
> Two C6 Corvettes with change left over
> An early 2000's Ferrari 360 Spider
> A Fiat Dino Spider

The list goes on and on. I can't imagine picking a Fiat Spider at that price point.

Perhaps some of BC's #1 export made it to Rolling Medows and they indulged a bit too much...

I like aj81spider's comparison, I too wouldn't mind a Porsche Cayman :D (Cayman S )

I just wanna know what the heck they are smoking and what kind of blackmail they are holding over buyers!!
They don't even restore cars!
Beek said it right when he suggested that they refurbish and you must have some serious dirt on someone to get them to pay that kind of money for a refurbished car...
Just sayin!!

Wow! After reading the description it turns out that our Spider, with all of it's refurbishments, is a Basta
Lorio Pino Cavallieriano Chianti Deluxe model. Not realizing what we had I almost let it go Last weekend for $31,500 when some vacationing flatlanders made an on the spot cash offer upon seeing the car in the parking lot. They left in tears when i declined the offer.

As a way of thanking this forum for pointing out just how special my Chianti Deluxe Spider is I will pass it on to any fellow forum member for only $56,722.41. Warranty extra.

Probably just trying to pull the market up for the real sales. Common Marketing trick. Kinda like the "going out of business sale" We have a local furniture outfit here that has gone out of business about 6 times in the last ten years.

"Dino" wheels. Ahem.

And I guess custom-made means calling up Grp4 or Compomotive.
