It's dusty and the hood is open... I'll swap this picture for one after a wash as soon as the weather permits

Here's an updated pic with the new wheels, tires, and wider track. Taken last night at the Foxboro Bass Pro Cruise Night, where there were about 1000 cars. Not too bad a turnout for early car season here. And for the first time there was another Fiat there, and it was a '79 Spider. Lives pretty close, so hopefully will see him at more cruises, and we encouraged him to join the forum. :D

They are West German, "Intra" is the manufacturer, 4X6J, 4x98, that I found on local Craigslist, and with Pininfarina center caps (somewhat faded) no less! They came off an X1/9. I wanted to widen the track, which I did by about 2.5" both front and back. I had quite a chore fitting them to the car, ended up with custom adapters from Serpent Auto Sports. I got a bargain on the wheels but with the new tires (195/60) and mounting/balance and the custom adapters, it was an expensive proposition. But overall I am really pleased with it, the cars sticks to the ground like it is glued, I am amazed at the difference both the track and wider tires made.

Pete,
That is beautiful.
She really looks sharp.
Can you share, in great detail, how you mounted your front license plate?
I like it.

I ALWAYS give too much detail. They are mounted on a ridiculously overpriced set of light-bar mounting brackets
that I bought at Pep Boys. Can't remember the brand but seem to remember they were "K" something? It was necessary to put some rubber pads between the pieces and the bumper tube to get them to fit just right. They are so strong that you could probably tow the car with the brackets, so I am sure they will hold the LP faithfully. 8)
