Does anybody know the approximate torque for the pinion nut?

The correct preload typically happens between 108 to 166ft.lbs according to the Haynes manual

It is not that simple, It depends if you have installed a new crush sleeve or just retorquing after a seal change.

Installed a new crush sleeve and seal.
