Brake lights always on
My brake lights are on all the time when the car is running. Doesn't matter if the headlights are on or off. The brake lights do not change when the pedal is applied. I just replaced my brake booster but don't remember doing anything electrical as far as connections. Just want to know where to start.

get down on your knees and pray, because you are about to crawl underneath your dash.
then, while you are on your knees, open the driver's door and stick your head and shoulders under the steering column. WAIT! now get back out and go getta flashlight. THEN, back on your knees in the "my aching back" position under the dash.
Take a look at your brake pedal, you should easily find the brake light switch. Chances are that this adjustable switch is no longer hitting the pedal properly... which will cause the lights on all the time... all the time.
adjust the switch so it hits the pedal, and the pedal depresses the button when there is no foot pressure on the pedal.
easy, peasy...

If you're lucky, it'll just need adjustment. I had to replace mine. My Back, My Back!
