Blowing the doors off!

Please be careful while working on your car, especially your gas tank and fuel system. We're not sure yet exactly what he was doing but my neighbor was working on his car and the fuel cell exploded. He received first and second degree burns on his arms, face and hands. The force of the explosion blew out all three doors on his garage. The fire department said that because the doors were closed, and there wasn't much fuel in the tank, the explosion burned all the oxygen in the space before it blew the doors off. They said if the door was open it would have continued burning everything in the space and the house would have been gone in a few minutes. It was pretty scary and he, his wife, and kids were very fortunate.
