Rebuilding of my 124 Spider

Added some more photos.

I've decided to take the car to a shop for the material blasting / paint & undercoat, and the engine will be completely rebuilt / machined at a local Napa Auto Parts Machine Shop.

That aside, what parts would I need to completely replace the rear suspension / brakes? The car is a 1975 CS1 that is missing most of the rear brake lines/equipment. So far the only items I plan on buying are:

Nate, I stayed away from media blasting being worried about all the little cavities which you might not get stuff back out of. I have seen many people do it so obviously it works. You will need an etching primer over all bare metal.

Thanks I look forward to it, the part that will take the longest is the engine as it took 8 months for the local machine shop to rebuild the engine in the picture however it was worth the wait as they did an amazing job.

I'm curious about the seat belts. It's my understanding that 1975 only had lap belts. Yours has the 3 pt shoulder belt that goes thru the back seat. I didn't think 3 pts came until 1979 ish.
My 1977 is lap belts only but I am welding brackets in for 3 pt belts.

The seats originally came out of a 78 and were originally re done for the 78 but we decided to scrap the 78 as it just had to much to deal with. We've had about 14 different Spiders 74-80

Edit: Even though the seats did come out of a 78 (that had terrible electrical/rust issues.. the previous owner literally cut ALL engine wires so we abandoned that project) I will be grabbing different seats from a 76 and getting those reupholstered without the 78 style seat belts (I prefer the earlier ones as it is).

Master Cylinder needs to be replaced along with the lines..

brakes:
check e-brake cable and spring
rubber hoses
calipers for leaks
compensator
pads and rotors
Suspension:
shocks
trailing arm bushings on all 4 arms
Panhard rod bushings
inspect shock towers for rust and cracks
check spring cup on the rear end
axle seals

Gutting the car. I wish I had more time to do this stuff, but it's on the right path! I hope to have the car on a homemade rotisserie by the end of the year @ the body shop.
