Spider Related Brewery Name

Post by jclarkey »

So I have started making my own beer in my garage and am having a blast with it! One of the next steps I would like to do is name my "brewery" and make up some labels so that when I give out my beers, I hopefully get some recognition and my bottles back :)

One thought was to name it something Spider related since my "brewery" and my car share the same space. Also because I love a cold one while working on the car, or after a nice cruise. I am even going to do a special batch this summer where I aerate my wort (unfermented beer) by strapping it into the passenger seat for a little drive ;)

Wondered if anyone had any ideas or thoughts on the subject.

OK... the obvious one is "Installation Fluid"

How 'bout these, too?
- Top Down Brown
- Batch 124
- Twin Cam Pale Ale

Cheers!

Great suggestions so far! Thanks guys. Just to clarify, I would be looking for something like " _____ Brewing or Brewery". Right now I just want general labels and will make some speciality ones down the road once I have perfected some recipes.

To steal someone's license plate: Itsy Bitsy Brewing. Or just 124 Brewing.

careful you dont open up pandora's box here. Selling home brew without a liquor license will land you in deep doo-doo. Putting a label on it just inviting the feds to come knocking on your door.

Wee bit different up here. Big doo-do if you try and sell it, not so much if you give it away to friends.
Plenty in the area where I live make their own wine, myself included. people will design the labels with interesting art work and seal after corking. A friend will serve it at their B & B as a tasting but they do not charge for it. No issues to date. Same with the beer. We used to make it for our fire hall and have a taste after a call or practice...again no $$$ changed hands.
Issue is if you try and sell it..

Have fun with this. Wonder if you would get in trouble with "Strange Brew".

The brewery name takes a little thinking about, beers are easy... Italian Pale Ale, Eight Eyes, Water Pump, Shock Tower Special not to forget Guibo Surprise! :). To steal another brand.... " Old Peculiar " would be apt....

On the guibo subject, Doughnut Brewery... Or perhaps that's a bit esoteric? Belt Driven Brewing Co.? Overhead Brewery?
