Re: Alternative for millers mule cam wheels.
The cam wheels look ... bloody excellent. I have to ask though, did the degree wheel come with them? I've been looking for a quality degree wheel myself.
I've tried the download and copy thing without much success.

Rey, I personally wished Jason well and I know for a fact that he is well enough to be working. Another member here talked to him on the phone just last week.spiderrey wrote:Its my understanding that Jason was in a bad car accident. So bitching about not getting your parts is pretty distasteful. better to be wishing him well.
As far as Mr Croft, there have never been any complications. He has always been very pleasent to deal with and always helpful. He is always grateful for the business, and he does not forget about you after the purchase. I sent him the head on my spider over 10 years ago. It was the best thing that I ever did. i look forward to being able to do business with him in the future. Hopefully soon.
Thanks for the thumbs up on shipping parts from Guy! I will look into ordering there.

Re: Alternative for millers mule cam wheels.
I had been looking for adjustable cam pulleys as well, until I came across these babies from Vick Auto. When I spoke with them on the phone they told me that the shipment should be in by the end of May and that they are taking pre-orders now.
A couple key features I thought were cool was that the belt guard is removable (not that I believe in taking things called "guards" off the car) and they have degree marks right on the gears, (no need for the protractor and/or the professional degree wheel kit).
I'm sold. I ordered a pair and when I get them I can take detailed pics for anyone with questions.
Flickr has made it very difficult to post pictures so until I figure out a workaround here's a link to a picture I got off the Vick Auto site.

Yeah, their site says 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum. I don't know a lot about aluminum but when I called them they told me the gears were very hard and will stand up to my abuse.

Re: Alternative for millers mule cam wheels.
He said they had "plenty" made and because of that they could keep the cost down. I also picked up aluminum pulleys for the crank and water pump pulleys. They had great prices on each of those as well... $30 or $40... something like that. I spoke with a guy named Mat for about an hour. He was very helpful with some fuel injector questions I had so I started asking about other things I was looking for. One thing lead to another and now I've got some new bling headed my way! I've read on the forum about other people having bad experiences with Vick Auto, but that was not the case for me.
If you haven't already, check out their site. They have pictures of everything I've mentioned.
