April fools day

Several were tried on the news and radio as well.
The best one I remember was from quite a number of years ago when the radio stations in Vancouver were in cahoots with the provincial phone company. The radio stations were letting their listeners know that to reduce or eliminate that annoying crackle sound that might be on the phone lines, they were going to blow out the lines with compressed air and if they did not want the resulting dust all over the house, tie little plastic bags onto the end of your phone receiver....

I pulled the front wheel off the fiat and stuffed a pair of pants and shoes coming out from underneath the car lowered the car with the jack to appear it was crushing me ... Lara got home from yoga and I started wailing out of view ... did not leave her on the hook long ... that was last year .... got a good talking to this year about any jokes that might come up and was forwarned about possible death for real if I tried anything like that again EVER
