For instance, what brands are you looking at? what are the sources you are considering? what type of driving are you getting ready to do? what size wheels on your car? are you on a tight budget? can you afford the best of the best ofthe best?

what type of driving do you do? if it's only commuter stuff, get a generic semi-metallic pad. For any type of perf use I install EBC pads

Bendix makes a ceramic pad that is quieter, better stopping and a lot less brake dust. About $25 a set is reasonable.
