Best websites for spider parts and accessories

Post by jad »

Just bought my first Fiat Spider, a nice 1977 with an Alfa Romeo 6 cylander engine, only
problem have to find someone who knows side draft carburators, running kind of rich. Needs
some cosmetics, center console type stuff. Looking for reliable and reasonable source of parts.
try to send pic, see if it works

taking it to the mechanic tomorrow morning, car nor yet registered, have to find
out what it needs beforehand. When I return I'll try and get some good motor and interior
pics. I think I found a gem. Straight body and all the lines are straight and even.
Appreciate any suggestions
Thanks

I just did a survey of our club members (Sacramento Area Fiat Club in Northern, CA) based on who they preferred to use for Fiat parts.

#1 vendor: http://www.autoricambi.us
#2 vendor: http://www.midwest-bayless.com
#3 vendor: http://www.international-auto.com
#4 vendor: http://www.allisonsautomotive.com/

After that came Ebay, Rock Auto, Vick's Auto, PartsGeek, and local vendors

Good news from the mechanic today, car is ready for inspection sticker. No major concerns
nothing has to be done. I guess I got really lucky. Now I can get it registered and start
to enjoy. I included a couple of pics of the engine compartment, not much room with the
Alfa engine.

A rare bird indeed - you'll have to join the Alfa forum to learn how to tune it!
