it still works

Post by narfire »

:D Third attempt at cranking over, the battery still had enough from last November to start. Before I put it to bed I poured some "Sta-bil" in the 1/2 tank and ran the car for 5-10kms or so. Parked it, covered (Noah cover) in the unheated carport till today... 20 deg C or about 70 F and going to take it around the block. :D :D :D :D Now, I wonder if this freeking weather will stay close to this for a bit, if so I'll be putting driving insurance on it this week.

Send us all the snow in the east. The north east of the states need more.

I went cross country skiing this am and plenty of snow in the mountains between 4800 and 7500 feet. Going to be interesting if all that decides to melt quickly.
Working outside in a t-shirt

Yes it was a great day, Chris - even on the Island. I got the fruit trees pruned and sprayed (dormant spray) and the outside Christmas lights taken down. Almost got the Fiat out, but got hooked into a G and T instead. The weather is supposed to be pretty good for the rest of the week, so there's lots of time. Since I got my Collectors plates - and year 'round insurance - I don't have to worry about that aspect.

Not here. Up the mountains yes. I'm in a "rain shadow" of the coastal mountains so we don't get a bunch of snow or rain here.
Another warm day today :D
