Hello Everyone.
I just wanted to say hello and thanks for all the useful info. on this forum - I'm finding it really useful.

I've just put a down payment on a '76 spider after lusting after them for around 6 years. I'm not due to pick it up until early April so it's a bit painful, but I can't wait (like a kid at xmas). I had to wave goodbye to my precious Fiat Coupe that I've had for the last 7 years in order to pay for it as can't afford to keep them both - as much as I would have liked to. Sad to see it go, but I still think I've made the right choice as even though I loved the Coupe, the 124's got real soul.

1976 CS1 1800 which was imported from US to UK in around 1998. It looks pretty original, bar the replacement bumpers. Absolutely no rust and seems in pretty good nick.

Looks like a sweet one. Is that from DTR? I can't afford their prices, but my brother-in-law did get a Barchetta from them a few years ago. He enjoyed it until he rolled it over on the M42!

More impetus to get on with my own restoration, which is currently in its 20th year. I did have 18 years off in the middle though.

Cos - give me a shout when yours is up and running. I've promised to take it to show Roger of PowerItalia in Basildon (where I took my Coupe to and eventually who I sold it to). Heard the Ace cafe Italian night it worth a visit too.

Dickykitch - max respect that you spotted it's the inside of DTR. Although I'm getting it much cheaper than their usual prices (the inside's pretty ropey), it's still feels hideously expensive. I was hoping to get more for the coupe as it was mint, but in the end only got £3,500 - so I'm hurting!

I must say I applaud your choice of vehicles - but I've just gained (not lost) a 20VT Coupe. Still hanging onto my Spider though.
