We carry them, but they are very expensive to ship. Call several local glass suppliers, it is not unusual to find one, and they could possibly look in their computer system to check other warehouses too.

I have been told that the windshields were not all the same thickness, is that true and if so do you carry both?

I had my windshield replaced in my '69. Safe lite broke 4, yes FOUR windshields trying to install them. I finally had it taken to a shop who had experience with 124 windshield installation. The ones Safelight were trying to install we're mfg in China. Ultimately the shop that knew what they were doing ordered one from a European supplier. Fortunately, my insurance covered it all. Maybe I just had bad luck but at least know that your installer is experienced with spiders.

Never heard or seen that. The later ones were slightly wider and the new ones available now are the later ones. We carry European made ones, not Chinese.

...
If a shop broke 4 windshields they must be trying to replace it without removing the WS frame? Insane...
