Not a Spider, but still a Fiat...

Post by perthling »

Just picked up a 1997 Coupe Fiat 20V Turbo. Had to have it transported (3500km) from Victoria, Australia to Western Australia - where it's now just the second Coupe Fiat in the State. 122k kilometres, leather interior and pretty stock. This replaces my 2008 Punto as my daily driver.

One of these?

Looks a little like a 300ZX from this angle:

Looks a little like an old Geo Storm from this angle:

Looks like a Pontiac Sunfire from this angle:

Looks like a fun little car - enjoy!

Yep - just like that. Was (and still is I believe) the fastest ever production Fiat.

Mine looks like the second shot (only silver).

Performance is quite impressive for a car which was launched 20 years ago - ditto the styling.

From what I recall of the Pontiac Sunfire, that could be construed as an insult...

Yep, and for the modest additional cost. I would have spent far more on the Punto to get it to anywhere near the same kind of performance (and it would still have been a Punto).
