Re: need help!
first thing i would check is:
1. check the hose going between the plenum and the air flow meter, make sure it is on tight and there are no leaks, the hose sometimes splits so check the hose well
2. check the door in the air flow meter, make sure it is not dragging
3. check the pickup in the distributor, make sure the wires are not frayed, bare or the insulation is cracked
this is where i would start

Re: need help!
when you say the fan isnt spinning, do you mean it wont even turn by hand, or its isnt on when the car is running. In the latter case, the fan is controlled by a temp switch in the bottom of the radiator. If you want to test the fan to see if it works, just take a jumper wire or screwdriver and short across the switch. If the fan goes on, then it will be a switch problem or an air in the cooling system problem. If the bottom of the radiator stays cool, then the fan will not go on. Also if the thermostadt is stuck shut, you will get no flow to the bottom of the radiator.
