Re: Interesting article...
I like the casual statement: "A stock exhaust manifold looks totally out of place and should be replaced by an Abarth item ASAP." As if the Abarth parts are just falling out of the trees.
I don't get the replica or "tribute" thing, the money it takes to make one right you could buy one or two of the originals. And they're just as a big of a pain in the ass to maintain (all old cars are...)

I really like the smog pump timing belt cover and upper bracket!! That's true abarth...
I'm with you Brad! It's not really a tribute unless it is correct and "correct" costs!!

I like the look of the car, but most of what makes it an Abarth seems to be sticker-engineering at it's finest.

Re: Interesting article...
Not a 1978. Engine bay components suggest 76.

Don't forget Matt, I'm not the only freak out here who changes stuff out. By the time I'm done with mine not a single forum member would say it's an 81 by looking at it!

Re: Interesting article...
If you moved the relays from under the passenger side foot well (and associated original wiring) to the engine bay for either "looks" or "performance" then yes, you are a freak.
