I didn't realize Abarth did an 83 Spider. Anyone have any details?

That looks like Volumex (supercharged) European market only... We got the TURBO model and they went supercharger over there.

Sure is a Volumex. 200 were made in 1983 and another 300 in 1985.
Mine is a 1985.5

I thought they only made those in 85 and didn't realize they were made with Abarth parts.

I'm currently doing a "refreshing" to mine. I've pulled the trans and engine, had the trans professionally rebuilt, and then did a major cleanup/repaint to the engine, running gear and undercarriage. It's been quite a challenge trying to figure out what is different for the 1985.5 (rack and pinion, vented disc brakes etc.), as well as what is different because of the Abarth volumex. I'm very dedicated to originality.
