Hi,
I am going to put in a check valve in the fuel line near the fuel tank on my '72 Spider to try and see if that helps the fuel from draining out of the line when she sits for more than a day. There are three lines coming out of the driver's side of the fuel tank and two coming out of the top. I know that one is the fuel supply, one is the fuel return, and three are for tank ventilation.
Question: Which one is the fuel supply? I believe that it is either the large one on the driver's side closest to the rear or the larger of the two on top. I have a check valve and just need to know where to put it.
Thanks.
Which one is the fuel line?

Re: Which one is the fuel line?
the 2 lines that come from the sending unit (top). are the fuel lines, the larger is the supply and the smaller is the eturn, the 3 that come from the drivers side are vapor. your car originally had a check valve installed. it may be underneath or under the hood.
