If I read correctly it will cross the block sometime next Sunday.
Taking next Friday off to go and look at everything I can't buy.

Even clean ones over here rarely break 30K. One of the better purchase values in Italian metal, if you do a good PPI, especially on the motor. Long-term ownership can be pricey...

Re: So What Will This Go For?
I'm not sure the B-J is the best venue to sell this car. Wrong audience. I think it would be better served at Russo and Steele or the RM auction. I wouldnt expect it to do very well.If it was a spider, then upward of $50k. Hard to say about the coupe. BTW, I assume Eric called you about the last moment Dine and Drive last Thursday. He called me a little after lunch, so i cut from work early, took the beast to the muffler shop to get my new muffler fitted, and then off to the event. The word was this was part of Barrett-Jackson and was to be populated with auction cars. I guess there was an insurance issue so that sent the organizers scrambling for cars. Ended up with a free weekday ticket for 2 to B-J. I guess that means i will figure out a time to play hooky and go. Will see what my grandson's schedule looks like as he has been bitten by the car bug. Had about 20+ cars show up. Only a few new what the Fiat was. Interesting mix of cars. A couple of mid 60s vettes, an Italia, all original XKE, deuce coupe, a few other hot rods. I very clean 53 chevy panel truck. Eric with is Lancia sedan. a nice 60s alfa sedan, cobra, 40 chevy convertable, 1st gen camero, 57 chevy mild street rod, etc. It was fun just car talkin with enthusiasts.
Re: So What Will This Go For?
These big auctions have gone nuts. Must have something to do with TV and 15 minutes (seconds?) of fame.
Couple that with the crazy money real Ferraris have been getting, I'm going out on a limb and guessing $72,500.
My only qualification is that this particular Dino is a nice as the picture suggest.

A 1967 sold at Barret-Jackson Palm Beach earlier this year for $28,000. From looking around I would expect a coupe to go for high 20's to low 30's. A spider would go for probably double that.

Re: So What Will This Go For?
Russ.....would like to have been there on Thursday, but getting off early isn't an option. In fact I have to schedule time off in November for the next year in order to guarantee I get it. Asked for next Friday specifically for the auctions. B-J is always the biggest so I usually go there if I go at all. Russo & Steele didn't list much that I would be interested in looking at.

That included the commissions, hammered at 33K.
